Notes - Had the flu all last weekend and today was the first day I felt good enough to train. I couldn't do a whole lot because I am still coughing and my lungs are not 100% so the sets of 5 made me feel like I ran hill sprints.
However it was nice that the 405 moved like this..........
lol, cross arm? Who the hell does that anymore?
ReplyDeleteUhhh Dan Green?
DeleteSteve Pulcinella too.
DeleteI've always meant to ask, did you paint that white band along the wall so that you'd know where to keep your eyes pointed when you squat?
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteQuick question. Do you think the Big 15 program would be effective if modified to a two day a week routine?
ReplyDeleteOne is a program (the big -15) the other is a "split" (2 days a week).
DeleteI know you wanted to make him think about his own question ;)
DeleteNevertheless: Winston - I used the the Big 15 programming for the main lifts for a 2 day split with very small assistance work. it was great cause your body has so much time to recover. But i found to feel a little ... lazy... added some medium sled work 1-2 days a week for half an hour and it was great.
To rephrase, do you think the Big 15 would be effective if I took the 4 way split or 3 way split and spread it out over two weeks? So that only two training sessions would be done per week. Once per week one would perform a squat/deadlift variation and once per week one would perform a press variation.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting over the flu as well and even though my fever broke three weeks ago, I'm still coughing. Shit sucks!
ReplyDeleteIn SLL Paul writes that you could do the Big-15
