Notes - I was actually still very tired but I "felt" like lifting, so I figured my time off had been enough.
The 365 single was NOT snappy, so I'm sure on a good night I have more than 225x29 in me. I've been after 30 for a while so it felt good to hit 29 on a bad night.
maybe some clamps next time?
ReplyDeleteDamn, these plates were wobbling like crazy. Any reason why you don't use collars? Or don't you feel the plates shifting at all during your set?
ReplyDeleteOh, and fucking impressive work on the incline Paul!
ReplyDeleteI don't generally use clamps for pressing, but yeah coulda used em this time. LOL
ReplyDeleteAside from the clamps, maybe your spotter could try backing the fuck up a little. I don't know if it bothers you, but it drives me CRAZY when they have their hands around the bar like that "ready to catch it" at the first sign of slowing down. Throws my concentration off like nothing else.
ReplyDeleteReally impressive press.
Impressive as hell! Spotter needs to chill for sure.
ReplyDeleteOn your (3) 225 sets, how much rest time in between?
2 minutes.
DeleteFucking cue tip walking past messed up my viewing pleasure - sold pressing btw!
ReplyDeleteFrom the angle on the bench, all I could think was "I've found Waldo and he's yoked as shit!"
ReplyDeleteWell done, sir!
Nice pressing man.. haha.. love it.. just jamming em out.
ReplyDeleteOh. "bbm" off season presses. I thought it said BBW and got excited.
ReplyDeleteThen I still enjoyed the posting anyway, despite the absence of husky ladies.
