Paul, just wanted to post on here about my improved work capacity and I'm only week 3 of the second phase. I'm literally finishing my lifting sessions in 15-25 minutes right now. The first week, with much lighter weights, it was taking 40. Been upping reps to try and accomplish 100 straight reps(outside of doing 100 pullups, which is brutal to put in between squatting on day 1). I almost thought it was too light, then i was looking at times, re-reading the book and had to kick myself in the ass because this isn't about strength, this is about work capacity/conditioning, and im running through sessions as fast as I do a trip to the bank. Awesome, awesome book and really has given me a much clearer understanding about choosing goals, phases of training.

Wow, a 300 pound back squat for a female is ALWAYS impressive, no matter how many times I read it.
ReplyDeletehey paul since you wrote SLL, do you still believe its okay if i can run back to back short cycle of strong15? i was thinking of running it back to back with a 10 lb increase starting with my everyday training max. what do you think paul?
ReplyDeleteWhy not? Just take a week off in between.
