Meet Training - Week 6 - Support work

Overhand Grip Barbell Rows -

Shrugs -

Good Mornings - 155x10,10,10,10
Machine Curls - 1 million pounds 4 x 10

notes - It's support work.  It's like jacking off.  Even if it's awesome there's still nothing to brag about.

    What makes you decide to switch from 100 rep curls to 4 sets of ten? Besides the obvious fact that you can curl a million pounds.....on a MACHINE!!!!

    Also,

    Did you feel like the 350 method for your assistance work isn't "optimal" for your meet prep training?

    1. I still do the 100 rep sets. I just don't log it on here. I am in the gym most mornings doing my "small" work/assistance stuff.

      I'm not using the 350 method right now because I have narrowed down all of my big stuff to just the big 4 for me (bench, incline, squat, pull).

      I will be making a whole routine of that stuff after the meet while I focus on conditioning.
