DeleteHey Paul. I'm just getting into benching. Tried it when I first started training, sucked, never did it again.
ReplyDelete2 years on, I need to bench. I've been doing it on and off for a few months now.. just feeling my form, what feels good, what doesn't, etc.
As I'm new to it, I just want to develop good habits early on. How often would you recommend a new bencher do pause reps?
I'm thinking I should pause every rep, and it'll suck at first but later on I'll be seriously strong.. I know I should just "go and do it" and not talk about it, but I'm fairly clueless about benching.
Just pausing the first rep is fine.
