Tricep Band Pushdown Facedown on Bench Extension Thingee - 3 sets
Notes - Got my bands from elitefts so I'm playing with it. Did hit a nice PR in the Poundstone curls. The last few reps, that was as far as I could curl my arms. They are shaking as I type this. I can now also do the kind of tricep extensions I could only do at the gym on a cable. I do them prone with the band however. These are elbow friendly and work very well.

ReplyDeleteI tried out the poundstone curls for the first time a week or so ago and they were brutal.. it's amazing what curling the bar alone can do. 115 reps is ridiculous!!

Just finished the book and i can't say enough how fantastic it was. i can't imagine what kind of effort and time went into that.. thanks for all you do.. keep up the good work.

DeletePaul, what's up with all the arm work? Are you doing it to maintain balance/overall symmetry? I ask because I seem to get enough from chins, OHP, etc. but I've been thinking about going back to doing just a few arm exercises for the sake of my own vanity :) P.S.Bought the book, looking forward to it!
