Hey Paul, I had a question that I'd like to get your opinion on, if it's no trouble.
I hurt my wrist yesterday doing cleans with 225 (trying for a new best); caught the bar badly and yanked my wrists back, straining the shit out of my tendons/ligaments in the left hand. Got it checked out and there appears to be no fracture, but my hand is out of commission for a while. And I just had to be left-handed...
I was wondering if you had any experience with this type of injury? Any kind of pressing/pulling motion is impossible at this point (I tried). Any tips?
I've had some beat up wrists before. Just baby it for a while and in the meantime, get some good wrist wraps. Try to immobilize it for a while, or at least limit the ROM in everyday life. So wrap it for a while then break it back in easy.
Gotcha. I've been RICEing it for the time being and keeping it wrapped up/not using it. Wrist wraps are also something I'm looking into, though I don't like to use them if I can avoid it.

The video re: low bar squatting and elbow pain sounds good. In the last Q&A I mentioned my elbow problems and they're mainly caused by low bar squatting and then exasperated by benching etc.
I watched this Rippetoe video to try and correct my grip: http://vimeo.com/30763907 and actually got a 1RM PB while doing this but elbows were in pieces afterwards. Whether this was because they were already tender as f'ck from weeks of holding the bar incorrectly, I don't know. Was going to try again after resting elbows for a while and letting them settle down- doing high bar for the time being but it sucks shit.

What I find funny is how guys think zyzz is some bad mother fucker . His fanboys who claims hes 230 lbs and compares his built to Arnold in his prime.... wow just goes to show these guys IQ regarding anything dealing BB.
At my gym, about 1/5 of the black guys squat, about 1/20 of the white guys do. Very small sample size though, as I've only seen about 15 different black guys at my gym in the past year. Granted none of them, and 90% of the white guys don't squat to depth.
