Hey Paul, I just wanted to say I love your site. I've learned so much already and I love your philosophy on being a man and what it means to be responsible for your shit. I have a question for you about the use of prohormones. I have been thinking about doing them for the last couple days and and I wanted your opinion on them?
By the way - what days are you going out to the gym now that your meet training is over? I'd love to come out again sometime soon if you're up for it - been super busy with school, but my schedule will be a lot more free after this week. I've been wanting to show you my shitty benching if possible.
Paul, great site and I really appreciate the info you give out. I'm in 21 and I have been lifting for the last 5 years. I have always trained the big lifts with alot of low volume and high intensity.I came across your site looking for a solid program that addresses strength and hypertrophy.Im 5'11 150lbs and 10% bf.My bench is at 200lbs, squat 325, deadlift 325.Im currently on my 3rd week of your LRB Template. I love it and its something I plan on sticking to for atleast the 6 week cycle. I know I need to start gaining some quality mass to get stronger so I recently purchased your philosophies on training and I wanted to know if you recommend doing the Big 15 befor the strong 15?Thanks man.
All depends on your goals. If just limit strength is the goal, go with the strong-15. If you want to gain more mass, go with the big-15. And remember to ask yourself specific questions about what you're after.
Paul, I have a follow-up question to my last question that you answered. Shall I post it here, or are you gonna have a separate post about it? I figured I'd hold out on the second part, but I guess it fits right in the fucking podcast.
paul, we've heard your thoughts on christian thibaudau, but i'd love to hear about what you think of his nutritional sidekick chris shugart! go on tnation and read the "livespill"s. that site has gone so downhill i think its a joke - they are in the business of making training and diet as scientific and complicated as possible, and adjust their entire philosophy everytime they release a new supplement in order to fit in around it. they even say you probably shouldnt even bother trying tome of Thibaudau's programs without the Anaconda Protocol as you wont be able to recover! rant over/
that pretty much sums it up. Their whole agenda is to sell kids supplements. So their training protocols have to be as stupid as possible in order to snake oil a mother fucker into buying that shit.
Yo Pauly, I really enjoyed this. I know you aren't big on Oly but I'm curious to hear what you guys think about Broz's boys kicking ass at the US nationals, then testing positive and missing out on London
Nice cast, thought you came across well. But that Jamie...Was he bullied as a youth? Is he 5'7" or less? Dude has some serious insecurities and must not get laid often. How do you put up with his adolescent rants of uber masculinity? Serious Paul that dude sounds like a major poser.
Actually I do think he's 5'6". Outside of that, Jamie is a good dude, LOL he's just wired real tight. But that's a good contrast to my more laid back personality.
