Some old KSE. Numbered Days. This song makes me want to split my head open on the tailgate of a rusted truck. Especially the little breakdowns at 0:51 and 1:31. Fuck god damn yes.
It's decent. I like Trivium but I really liked Travis Smith and I think his departure will hurt a little bit. That dude was nails. I need to go pick up their new CD.
yeah, it's a song that grew on me the more I listend! I just put some new stuff on my i-pod and a classic song from Anthrax was included..Gung Ho! pure thrash metal track and charlie's double bass is insane...
That whole KSE album is good. I actually like the singer on their old albums better than the new guy. I liked his clean vocals better than the new guy although his screaming was pretty one-dimensional.
Overall the songs had a more raw, energetic feel to them.
Agree Proto. That first album was incredibly solid. I like end of heartache a lot too but as you noted, the first one feels heavier and more raw. Lots of good tunes from that one.
I can't link it but see if you can find Amon Amarth's "The Sound of Eight Hooves" and give it a listen. The vocal style may not be your thing but it's got a pounding, non-stop beat and is great to lift to, IMO.
O hell yeah! classic song Paul! I am sure you have, but have you heard the new Trivium song " In Waves " ???

Also gotta check out a German thrash band called Destruction. Listening to them makes me want to kick holes in the wall.
